  • @midwestlambsbread and when it comes to Gene, and songwriting, Missouri is the world.

  • Mine and my friends' anthem

  • Love this!

  • I saw the Gene Clark led band....billed as The Byrds at Knotts Berry Farm in 85...They were on the bill with Mamas and Papas..Grass Roots and Three Dog Night...The Byrds were the best but played on the smallest stage of the four bands who were spread around Knotts at different stages..Blondie Chaplin and Nicky Hopkins were both in the band....seems like maybe 50 people were watching them it was the middle of the day and I think they had to play a few times that day..wish i could remember more.

  • Love ya Gene....best artist ever from Missouri.

  • I love the energy of this band. Clark's vocal seems to be channeling John Prine in this version. What a terrific post.

  • This is GREAT. They look like they are truly enjoying playing this song.

  • I saw these guys in '85 in Lauderdale. It was a awesome "concert". Isn't that Rick Danko on bass & Mike Clarke on drums? They did a bunch of Byrds songs from the first album. They played better than the 2nd Byrds line up I saw in '72 in Tampa (Roger & all the "new" guys). It was at a bar & what a surprize! It was like a time machine ('65 in '85). Thanks Gene & Mike!

  • Simply beautiful. Wish I could buy this version.

  • Great. Anyone know where this was recorded?
