@Vinnie7683 The owner of the North Stars was a Canadien (Norm Green) so we was an outsider. Also, before, or during "the move" a Minneapolis councilwoman sued Green for sexual harrassment, so there might have been some revenge factor on Greens part. Attendance was down but only for a year for the Stars went to the Stanley Cup a year or two earlier.

This was a great Norris Division match up. Loved the rivalry. Gary Bettman killed it.

wow i wish i was alive during this rivalry!! my dad tells me all about it and i wish i would of witnessed it myself....now all i have is the wild and canucks :/ and thats nothing compared to this. When koivu got slashed and his leg broke no one even gave a $hit, but if it happened in this time Ohlund would have been killed. its a shame!
