Climbing one requires serious training, not to mention expensive gear. But in the forests of Oregon, it's possible to find arborists who specialize in taking the uninitiated high into the branches. Not only do novices get to climb a tree, they can sleep in it as well, in specially designed "tree boats," suspended hundreds of feet up. Falling asleep is then a simple matter of trusting one's life to a thin Kevlar rope.
