  • @BrutalRealist. What exactly is so horrible about nursing? If u hate it so much go do something else!

  • @maisymurray It's true, nursing isn't for everyone, which is why college is so important and why I really encourage taking a year at a community college or just as "undecided" so that you really find out what is good for YOU. Not what your parents want you to do, not what society tells you that you should be doing, and not even what you think would be easiest or guarantee you a job, but what makes your heart swell with accomplishment at the thought of holding that diploma.

  • Thanks. I'm starting nursing school in Sept and was just wondering if I should join a Christian group. You said exactly what I needed to hear! I like your videos. I'm going to watch them all.

  • @spaceofgrace Yes! Go for it! If your school has a CRU group they are pretty darn awesome :) a support group is amazing and will get you so many new friends and with a Christian group it will get you the GOOD friends that want you to succeed in life! Best of luck in school!

  • @spaceofgrace Good God, no. Don't go for it. I don't want to sound mean, but this person is still in school. I'm an actual nurse. I went through the honeymoon phase like all of you. I was just SOOOOO excited about this field. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and have done well in the field...but along with MOST of my other nurse friends...we are stressed, miserable, and just used up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE FIELD. Google "I hate nursing" or "No nursing jobs"..don't take my word for it!

  • @BrutalRealist I'm sorry that you had such a horrible experience, but you can just as easily google "I love nursing" and find equal if not an even more diverse list of results. Perhaps you're not in the right branch of nursing, or not with the right employers. "I don't want to sound mean" but stop putting down others dreams, ESPECIALLY on my video, just because you are miserable and cannot brave the plunge to change your own destiny.

  • Now that it is 2011. How are things going for you in nursing school? Still hanging in there? :)

  • ooh I hated developmental psychology but I passed with a B.

  • @xAnukisx unfortunately, you cant be "undecided" here. but im positive i want to do nursing so i guess thats ok =)

  • @xAnukisx yeah, im doing a year long pre nursing course first. I have also shadowed nurses before and know a couple of nurses..Im really only interested in medical things..I want to be an a and e paediatric nurse.

  • @jaymoragne UNfortunately, you're not guaranteed a job. Society has been brainwashed. Just google "no nursing jobs" and you'll see thousands of entries from nursing school graduates who were fooled as well..I am a nurse getting out of the field ASAP. If any of you are gung-ho about nursing, I beg you not to google search "I hate nursing"..because then you'll find out the reality of it all. If you're not good at science, nursing is OUT of the question for you. I LOVE SCIENCE & MATH.

  • I think pretty much all freshman classes were/are easy. I'm doing an accelerated 2nd degree BSN at UMDNJ in NJ... now that's intense... 60+ credits in 14 months.
