Backslider, God wants you back!




A backslider is a person who once had salvation, but then turned away from the Lord to the point that he is now spiritually lost and dead again, just like he was before becoming saved. The Bible cites many examples of people who turned away from God. Some returned, like King David and Peter, while others never came back to God, like kings Saul and Solomon.

Evangelical Outreach receives many contacts from grieving backsliders who want to come back to God, but aren't sure they can. Some think they sinned too much while others think they committed eternal sin and they can't get forgiven. Brother Dan Corner gives us the Biblical facts about the backslider.
