I had a hard time (and my friends that I asked too) understanding the difference between a ritual and working pentacle. So instead, here are my ideas in finding your OWN symbol to use.

  • a working pentacle is like a working candle, you can choose to use tools or choose not to use tools; yes it's a dog and pony show, sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don"t, blessed be

  • in using paper & pen while drawing- what must we contemplate while drawing? eyes open or shut? I suppose it works best according to the user. I suppose I could experiment...:)

  • Thank you Mo ;)

  • @dorsithion "Aho" is an Apache word similar to "so mote it be" or "amen" or "hells yeah!" :P

  • @sunnymarcie Hmmmm. This is really interesting since the day that I did these crossed arrows was the first full day of really living in my new place. Thanks for the info! :D

  • You can also use the pentacle on your altar for charging objects or potions

  • Making my video now.

I really admire the fact that you do a morning ritual every (or close to every) day. I really want to get into that habit, but I'm such a lazy college kid haha. I wake up in just enough time for class because I'm up late. Needs to stop. Side note, LOVE the painting in the background.

  • *watches with the cat outside * Mmm look at that bird there!

There are many more symbols then just the pentacle :) Though it isn't a terrible bad looking symbol!

  • Oops something I forgot to add. To the Native American the arrow means many things. Crossed Arrows - Friendship

    Arrow (pointing right) - Protection

Arrow (pointing left) - Warding off Evil

    Broken Arrow - Peace

  • The arrow in the Elder Futhark (runes- teiwaz) represents victory. Could this have something to do with your arrows? It also means faith, truth, trust, devotion (troth). I wish I could remember the source on this its been ages.

I use a pentacle on my altar to represent the elements and the self but it also makes a great place to set a small crystal ball. I also have one that was gifted to me that I do wear all the time.
