Squeaker alone - 17 days.

07/24/09: Squeaker 17 days old, showing more and more adult behavior; looks like he wants to exit the nest; don't know how he will tolerate me cleaning around his nest, but it needs to be done!. He's flexing and extending his wings more and more; quivers wings to attract Mom's attention in this video w/o too much success; today is the first day I've seen him standing for any extended length of time. He's being left alone for longer and longer periods, but both parents stay close by, making me believe that all three are cooperating to get Squeaker ready to leave the nest; I'll do my part by cleaning... he doesn't seem too enthused about stepping into droppings.
