WOW this is very profound and one of the best notable statements on "love" that I have heard..... I will never forget these words.
"Love means unconditional acceptance of that which you love" and "I love you the way that you are and the way you choose to be in the future"
So well put .... simply stated and it speaks the truth.

Awesome advice and raises a very profound, and unspoken question.....how to tame our ego. I tried asking my ego what its purpose was. It replied that it is essential when we are young to keep us trying to catch up to the amazingly capable adults around us. It keeps us from quitting. It also said that egos like to retire young. I invited mine to retire comfortably and it is far less obtrusive than before. Give it a try and comment here on what happens.

I believe that the key to any happy relationship is to be thankful. I mean there will always be that little habits that WILL tick you off but try to focus on the bigger picture of the relationship and be thankful. At times when I feel that his bad points are really bringing me down, I try to get over it but taking a different angle and be thankful for the fact he's (e.g.) a good provider.

I absolutely agree with this. I have a gratitude journal and when I'm feeling down about something, each day I write at least 5 things that I grateful for. It may sound corny, but it really works, after a few days, I stop noticing the little things that bother me...

I can't remember if it's this video or not, but I wasn't kidding when I said that Paul has saved us many times. We all need that objective third party to help us through the bumpy times - especially one like Paul, who is a very good counselor/therapist.
