The story behind the photos:

Photo number 10:
A series of incredible pictures taken at a South African game reserve document the first known time that a leopard has taken on and defeated one of the fearsome reptiles.
The photographs were taken by Hal Brindley, an American wildlife photographer, who was supposed to be taking pictures of hippos from his car in the Kruger National Park.
The giant cat raced out of cover provided by scrub and bushes to surprise the crocodile, which was swimming nearby.

Photo number 9:
This photo showing a group of poisonous snakes in a pipe was taken by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority in Hatta (a city near Dubai).

Photo number 8:
When you go travel to Russia and feel some hunger -- you might want to buy some canned tuna or herring for your sandwich.
Beware. You can buy something like this. It was in canned "Atlantic Herring" dish.

Photo Number 7:
This is an accident that took place in Revelstoke, Canada,
The caption of these photos state that "after losing control on a patch of ice, this pickup truck is literally hanging on with only a tiny piece of metal. It's a 70 foot drop to the bottom of the river"

Photo Number 6:
This photo shows a man touching great white shark, also known as the white death. The great white shark is known for its size, with the largest individuals known to have approached or exceeded 6 meters (20 ft) in length, and 2,268 kilograms (5,000 lb) in weight. It reaches maturity at around 15 years of age and can have a life span of over 30 years. The great white is ranked first in a list of number of recorded attacks on humans made by sharks.

Photo number 5:
Canadian Alex Thomas and her Australian boyfriend Scott Jones, the couple captured kissing on the ground in the middle of the Vancouver hockey riots, between swarms of police, have become world famous overnight.

Photo number 4:
This photo of a biker heading to a rock bridge was taken in a place called Little Arch on the Poison Spider trail in Moab, above the Colorado river.

Photo number 3:
A wildlife photographer got the shock of his life when this young leopard leapt right on to the roof of his Land Rover. Sergey Kotelnikov looked petrified when the creature jumped onto the vehicle while he was on safari in Namibia, near its border with Botswana.
But his expression turned to astonishment as the leopard, obviously only curious, calmly sat down in front of him.
Then, astonishingly, Mr Kotelnikov and fellow photographer Sergey Ivanov, who took the photographs from an adjacent Land Rover, climbed down from their vehicles and played with the leopard.

Photo number 2:
From photographer Jon Griffith's blog:
The picture below that I took many years ago has been my most recognized. The picture was taken on Frontier Ridge which is a route leading to the top of Mont Maudit in France. Mont Maudit at 4465 meters, or 14,645 feet, is the nearest satellite peak of Mont Blanc. The Frontier Ridge, Mixed climbing on snow and ice up to 60 degrees for short sections, and beautiful 4th and easy 5th class rock, lead from the Col de la Fourche on the south side of the mountain, to a point high on the east ridge which is followed to the well-defined summit. Views throughout the climb are mind boggling - especially of the Brenva Face and south side of Mont Blanc.

Photo number 1:
A photo by Brian Scary -- National geographic. An adult Southern Right Whale encounters a diver on the sandy sea bottom at a depth of 22-meters off the Auckland Islands, New Zealand. The photographer say: I traveled to the Auckland Islands in hopes of photographing a truly pristine population of Right Whales. Many of these Southern Rights had never seen humans before in the water and were highly curious.

  • #2 Light the beacons!

  • You know a video is good when even the censorship is fancy.

  • @needlelust i apologize and while that is all absolutely fine and dandy to do so you dont need to be a dick about it. a simple sentence or two would have done fine rather than trolling and emphasizing over such a small mistake. nobody is perfect missy.

  • @TheSnappleAddict 1. I'm not a Mr.

    2. when someone blatantly posts incorrect information regarding a picture I'm going to point it out.

  • Any last words lol

  • @needlelust take it easy mr know it all

  • #9 -- the photo of VENOMOUS RATTLESNAKES was NOT taken near the city of Dubai as rattlesnakes do NOT even occur anywhere in the Middle East.. this picture was taken in association with a rattlesnake roundup in the southwest United States! Do your research first before posting false and misleading information.
