@PHHOFTHEPH Yep, he finished in fine style despite being half-throttled by the other wounded Willy, who'd already had his pedal trodden on (rather off) during Otway's train impression. The whole thing's at youtube.com/watch?v=G8C-BwAbAd­c, and is as wonderful as this snippet suggests: no wonder the best part of a generation embraced him overnight as a national treasure, which he remains. Pure genius.
