Problems with starting a brushless outrunner motor. When I give it some throttle, it just "coughs" and spins slowly backward.

Motor: Turnigy AerodriveXp SK Series 35-48 1100kv
ESC: Turnigy Plush 60A

  • i had the same problem. it was bad connection from the engine leads to the ESC. check them. my friend also had the same problem on his cessna and i checked his engine connections and tightened and made sure the solder was good. it worked.

  • @stormranger6 Ok, thanks for the info. I will try that.

  • Mitkä laitteet sulla on? Multiplexin omat Mentorin Power Packit? Jos sulla on liian pieni nopeudensäädin (ESC) ni voi lopettaa viattoman toiminnan... Hankala sanoo.

Toivottavast tulee kuntoon, hyvin lentää Mentori.

  • Kuten tuossa oikealla videon kuvauksessa näkyy, laitteina Turnigyt:

Motor: Turnigy AerodriveXp SK Series 35-48 1100kv

    ESC: Turnigy Plush 60A

  • Found the problem guys. It was the bullet conectors from the motor even though they looked solid I re soldered them and it fucken worked!!!! Thanks guys.

  • I have the same problem but with a 70mm ducted fan! Running a 60amp Turnigy plush with a 3500kv outrunner motor. Problem is when i plug in my other motor which is a Tunigy cant remember the kvs it works! Can anyone help please

  • check the wires from the esc to motor, make sure the wires and or bullet connectors arent touching, my foamy did that when the wires touched, if it is the bullet connectors put some scotch tape or heat shrink tubing around them

  • 2 cases i had it was the bullet connectors loose and another it was the solder on the engine leads. make sure there is good connection and conductivity all the way to ESC chip.

  • let me know if you fix it
