  • at the 1:07 min mark in the video, you counted the electrons for energy level 5 as being 18. Because the fifth energy level has the f orbitals there is actually 32. You counted for the 3rd energy level (s, p, and d)

  • You are right my mistake! I will fix this soon. When I created this for my students I didn't have them do any electron config for any elements that had f orbitals so for example purposes it didn't matter. But I am aware that it will fill lower energy orbitals (s, p, d) before higher energy f orbitals.

  • i guess in the 5th main energy level, there are 50 electrons...the 32 electrons that ksampeer was talking refers to the 4th main energy level....
