ok guys ma lappy is not working and this was filmed with my new camera


------------------------Details---------------------------------
computer: Sony Vaio vgn-s260
procceser: intel pentium III
ram/memory: 512mb
OS: Windows XP home edition
Hard Drive space 50 GB with around 9GB left

ok so my lappy was working perfectly until around 3
weeks ago (Or 2) and then its started off with after 10 minutes on ma lappy it would freeze for around 10 seconds and either go into the blue screen of death or it would go into a 800 x 600 resulution saying that my graphics driver has failed and then about a week ago it would not boot up at all it did once and my dad (his youtube user is http://www.youtube.com/user/gdwest999 ) got in safe mode and found out that the system32 folder was moved to the ie38 or whatever the folder is called he did some command prompt magic and it was fixed for a day now theres nothing at all normaly it would boot up 2 outa 10 times but it doesent at all i think if i get into the bios im gonna put ubuntu on my pc i dont really know mabey its my hard drive if it is then i will try to find me a new one... hopefully a 1 terabyte hard drive will if you have the answers then PM me of comment what i should do so anyways bye

ok so you guys said to plug it in into an external montior and it worked for about a half hour and when i went to shut it down i went to go turn it back on and nothing now im wondering if it is my stick of ram my laptop doesnt give me any warning if there is no ram so you guys keep on trying to help

Ok guys with my laptop im sure its the mother board but i need a new one and i cant find one so can someone send me a link to a really cheap (In price not quality) motherboard and send the link to barfsonyou99@gmail.com and ill check it out and if your soulution works you will have a lot of rewards heading ur way!

  • i know the problem.

    1. burn a windows xp iso on a cd.

    2. put the cd into your cd drive.

    3. now it will ask if you want to start the setup.

    4. install it! it will work! i hope it does work

  • i can say that wont work.... because its a hardware problem. not a software problem. I think i just need to get a new laptop

  • it does work very well i having the same laptop. 4gb ram with win7. by me it worked.

  • ok i will try it for u then. but the problem may look the same but not the same too.

  • Drain the Excess battery by taking out the Power lead (If in) Take out the Battery and hold down the Power button for 60 Seconds. Now put everything back in and boot it up.

  • try hooking up a monitor.

  • it seems the screens plasma has leaked out.

  • Under the screen it's the power inverter

  • It is the Ram problem! Change yours with anther new Ram!

  • Maybe plug it into a external moniter
