  • I had Mother Goose Rock N' Rhyme recorded on VHS when I was a kid. I never could even sit through the whole thing-- I think my parents liked it better than I did for some reason :P

  • @skystarless It was obviously made for kids, but I think it was also aimed towards baby boomer parents by casting all of those aging musicians and celebrities.

  • are you kidding me? "Mother Goose Rock & Rhyme" was one of my favorite movies when i was little, i could prob. still recite a good 90% of that movie. I wish disney was still showing good movies like they used to

  • "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" and virtually everything produced in the last 15 years by Disney is indicative to me that the Walt Disney Company I grew up with is no more, and has transformed into something entirely different.

  • Walt Disney himself said, "I don't make movies for kids. I make movies for adults that they can take their kids to." So it's no surprise that they used to show all these classics.

  • wow!

disney channel was sooo cool then!

they showed alot of timeless classics!

    i was born in 1989

so i definitely wouldn't remember this whatsoever lol

  • @skystarless Why dont you upload it to youtube?

  • @80sCommercialVault Blame the Teenity-Boppity bullshit of today.

  • @skystarless I got Rock N Rhyme on ebay a decade ago on VHS lol, I rewatched it and actually enjoyed it a bit, I know now being older I can more recognize the colorful cast of characters and find some even funnier now (like Paul Simon as Simple Simon) but yea, classic!!!! thanks for the uploads!

  • oo man i totally remember all these movies....I think we still have the vhs's of what we my mom taped when I was lil. :) sooo much better then disney channel now. Bring back the old disney channel!! or have a classic channel!!

  • Same here! I loved that movie! I told my mom about it the next day and couldn't find the movie anywhere. Now, over 10 years later I remembered what it was called and finally found it! I'm 16 and I miss old Disney shows and movies.

  • Goodbye Miss 4th!! That was filmed in Jonesboro, TN, the town next to where I grew up and I remember as a little kid when they were filming they had dirt all over the roads and stuff! I still have the film on VHS somewhere I think. Anyone know if it's ever been released to DVD?

  • I know!! i can't believe it, mann they have changed it so much. i hate how they changed things. no its for like childred 10 and under. they should play some of these old movies now-and-then
