@MrCharlestsao1 I may not know much about politics but I do know my grandparents and my parents suffered in the 1960s in China where tails were told on how ‘happy people’ lived only on watered down rice porridge or worst they boiled grass and tree leaves to eat under the WONDERFUL Communist China. Next you'll be telling me the Holocaus never happened.
You sir are obviously a Communist or do not have the faintest clue what you are talking about.

@MrCharlestsao1 This movie depicates very clearly the support of China's Communist collective ideal against the Nationlist Taiwan.
The reality is NOT simple, the reality is Communism is about brainwashing people into working as one collective force without any individuality, human or democratic rights. The leaders and ‘top dogs’ always have their position of power and live better than the common people they control.

@voon100 So you think this is "propaganda"? The reality is pretty simple that Chinese are happy people. Yes they work hard, which has nothing to do with communism whatsoever, and surprise surprise, there are enough food on the table. In the early 1960's when there was a shortage of quality food. The so-called "top dogs" would have the same ration as anyone else.

The movie is Communist propaganda. Work hard, work collectively you sure to be happy. but the reality being, the people work like dogs there isn't enough food on the table, whilst the top dogs gets to endulge on what the peasants' sweat.
