999 was like the first British punk band. they're amazing. who cares if 'punk had lost its appeal'? its not about what the majority of the public wants to hear. its about the fact that they kept doing it even when it was losing it's appeal. & they're fucking awesome for it.

I've always liked 999.....BTW - they're still out there doing their thing, and doing it well.
