  • 999 was like the first British punk band. they're amazing. who cares if 'punk had lost its appeal'? its not about what the majority of the public wants to hear. its about the fact that they kept doing it even when it was losing it's appeal. & they're fucking awesome for it.

  • Wow, I was working for Albion Records and sent 999 on this tour - I organised it - good to see it on Utube after all these years.............Homicide is..............well, just a wonderful song.....

  • I've always liked 999.....BTW - they're still out there doing their thing, and doing it well.

  • It means the music is tired and formulaic, and that the punk scene had already lost it's appeal by that time.
