Mac vs PC - Beach Ball

Mac has taken quite a liking to his beach ball.

When the beach ball appears - you force quit the program and move on. On windows - you restart the computer cause it locks ups. BIG difference.

@drainyou494 I've had my fair share of applications hanging the entire system both in OS X (*cough* Safari *cough*) and Windows (arguably, Windows did it more). Though, I've never had a complete system freeze in Vista or 7.

What many people dont understand is that macs recover from the BBOD (beach ball of death) and unfreeze pretty much all the time. The worst that happens with the BBOD is the program you are using crashes. The entire OS of mac almost never crashes, unlike windows with its BSOD.
