Record Warm weather disrupts Vancouver Games

While D.C. digs itself out of its third blizzard in two months, the schedule for the Vancouver Winter Games is thrown into disarray as events are rescheduled around slushy conditions due to 50' degree weather in Western Canada in February.

Your description of this video is way off geographically. Vancouver is in the South West of Canada, not the North East. NE Canada would be Newfoundland and Labrador.

If they wanted dry snow for the Olympics, they should have used a ski resort located in the Rocky Mountains or even the interior of BC. I saw this costly mess coming years ago.
