Bandon Beaches, OR

Visitors strolling the beaches by the Coquille Point Wildlife Refuge in Bandon, OR in late afternoon Jan. 2, 2011. I'm testing out my new Canon Powershot SX30 IS that has a combined 24mm wide angle and 860mm telephoto lenses. Although I held the camera against a steady surface and tried to hold it still, the super zoom is simply too powerful to hold still when it reaches its limit in the distance without a tripod and/or remote, which I didn't have with me. But you get the picture about its superzoom..
