An '84 GT had less than 200 horsepower and I've got at LEAST that much on a stock motor (And mine's not really that stock anymore)

if my 2003 V6 can't out run a 24 year old Mustang, I must be missing a few cylinders.

v6 mustangs are garbage, i know i've had one.

i now have a black gt, a real damn mustang, an hopefully in a few years a 03/04 cobra.

ford sells v6 just to make money off them, it only makes sense.

but yeah anyone who drives a v6 an actually thinks they have some sort of a muscle car is a fucking idiot.

Wow, you people knocking on V6 Mustangs forget that many more V6's get sold than V8's. It is Ford's bread an butter, and a big part of Mustang history and legacy. There has been a 6-Cylinder Mustang in almost every generation since 1964, please remember that. The reasons to purchase a V6 vs a V8 are many. Insurance costs are different, as are sticker price and fuel economy. I drive a V8, but always give a nod to a 'stang owner, no matter the breed. Go hate on the bowtie or import crowd! :)

who gives a shit wether its a v6 or a v8? if ford didnt want mustangs to be called mustangs if their V6, they wouldnt of offered them in V6 models. if your willing to pay extra for gas just for bragging rights, without any plan on using it on the track, you deserved to be smacked with an exhaust pipe. Im in love with mustangs but i live in New York city and i dont plan on getting into the racing scene so please explain to me why i should pay for a V8 mustang?
