"Another Sleepless Night", with it's intoxicating vocals and deep house beats, was Shawn Christopher's first single for Aritisa Records in late 1990.
Thanks to her unique and refreshing vocal delivery, the track rose above the competitive pack to become one of the year's biggest hits worldwide.
On Billboard's year end charts, "Another Sleepless Night" was ranked at #3 on the tally of top dance sales, placing higher than established artists like Madonna and L.L. Cool J. Lastly and most impressively, Christopher was the #2 club play artist of the year.

I love this song. It reminds me of dancing shirtless on Sunday nights at the leather bar, Ramrod, in Boston when I was 21 and newly out of the closet! LOL! Deep house in the first half of the 90s was made for fierce clubbing for sure: Jomanda, Snap, Black Box, Kym Mazelle, Mocca Soul--a soundtrack to dancing nights of young energy, freedom and fun.
