  • The host says XMRV is "probably not that meaningful" and let's "not be alarmist" "the CDC will keep a watchful eye". Wow, are you naive. I am an ivy educated lawyer who's life has been destroyed by ME/CFIDS. CDC, NIH and a small cadre of British psychiatrists have created an iatrogenic holocaust by ensuring ME patients and science are ignored.

  • XMRV has been associated not only to Prostate Cancer, but also to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome last October 2009. More research is needed to replicate the study published in Science Magazine in order to validate this association.

Blood supply could be at risk for the general population if these study is validated, therefore is an urgent social concern.

  • I contracted CFIDS my freshman year at Cornell University in Spring 2008.

First of all, I have been a healthful eater, a competitive athlete & extremely academic all my life.

Having said that, in 2008 I experienced an onset (IN LESS THAN 1 MONTH) of tremendous cognitive decline, fatigue & brain fog to the point where I can barely function anymore YET the public continues to listen to these quack doctors tell them that this is all in our heads. I don't want SSRIs, I want my god damn life back
