I've been listening to chazzonim since the early 1950's and have attended countless concerts and have heard some of the best in the world. I also have a large collection of records, tapes and CD's. I agree 100% with you, there is more to the cantorial art than who can hit the higher notes. There are so many young cantors around today and each brings something unique to the bimah or concert stage. Enjoy each chazzan for his unique quality, style and voice and don't get into who is better.

Truely a gift- what i would give for a warm, clear, sweet voice like that!! No wonder i am told he is one of the only chazzonim left in the world who fill up a shul on a shabbos!
