HEY! im 15 and i have a couple questions,
do you think 15 is too young or shud i just wait till im 16 to get it? I have wanted one for a REALLY long time and i want one SO bad but my mom doesnt like facial piercings but my dad said he thought a stud wud look nice on me...anyways i have 3 ear lobes piercings on each ear and a cartilage on my right (helix) n it didnt hurt at all got it with a needle its healing really well, how do you think i could handle nose if i handled cartilage really well?

@lilbette9 I got my nose pierced 3 days ago and the stud wont sit flat in my nose and keeps poking out. Is there a way I can make it just stay flat on my nose?

I had my nose pierced with a needle twice. I got this use bump on my nose and I had to pop it because it was pushing my piercing into the hole. It was just a big gaping hole in my nose so I took my stud out and let it heal. I had it re-pierced a few months later by a licensed person and the same thing happened. I was using these bottles they gave me to clean it, can;t remember what it was. Should I try piecing my nose again, its been a few years now...

Hey. I am probably getting mine tomorrow. Does blackhead affect them? And wl they refuse to pierce my nose if I have blackheads?

getting my nose pierced was the worst decision i ever made :( i just took my out today. i have hypertrophic scar so the scar tissue caused a bump its the uglist thing in the world now i have a big bump and no ring :/ im so sad

I've had both sides of my nose pierced, I got my right side pierced when I was 22, and then I got my left side pierced when I was 24, sadly my right side closed up after I lost the ring.
I'll be going back in soon to my piercer to get the right side done again.
This is a very nice video for people thinking about getting a piercing.

what do you do when our nose is infected and there is puss coming out and it bleeds a lot
I had mine today, I'm 13, And they did it with a gun instead of a needle :) I was lucky lol x

@someirishwolf you were definitely not lucky! Guns should never ever be used to pierce cartilage because the speed and concentrated force can often cause the cartilage to shatter - this will lead to a higher chance of infection as well as a bump on your nose and a longer healing time. Also, guns are much harder to clean than needles, so unless you go somewhere very good, you have a much higher chance of getting blood born diseases spread from the gun.

how long does it take for the redness and swelling to go down? i've been wanting my nose pierced for ages, and am finally getting it done, but i'd rather not walk in on my first day of school senior year with my nose swollen and red. any tips? also how is the actual piercing done? is it like an ear piercing, with the gun, or more like a bellybutton piercing? sorry for all the questions lol i'm just curious!
screamergirl93 6 months ago
@screamergirl93 it really depends on the person, but it can take anywhere from a couple hours to a day or two. The piercing should be done with a needle, like a belly button - if they want to do the piercing with a gun go somewhere else! hope this helped :) message me if you have any other questions

Ok. your video was very helpful. i really want my nosed pierced but im only 11 but i want it for my 12th birthday & i was just wondering if i should do it at a older age or would 12 be ok? & also im scared of needles. im also wondering wat should i do if my school doesnt allow nose piercings? please help me & give me answers

@ferretlover561 I would say wait, but that's just me. A nose piercing looks a little strange on someone so young, plus if you are scared of needles that will be no good, because the needle they use is HUGE. But all this aside, no matter what I think, if your school doesn't allow piercings then that really answers the question for you.
