SuperTrapp performance exhausts are tunable utilizing their patented tunable disc technology. SuperTrapp manufactures performance exhausts for various applications including V-Twin, Metric, Sport bike, Dirt bike, ATV and Automotive. Adding or subtracting discs allows the rider to control the flow of their exhaust. Closed End Caps and Open End Caps are compatible with the tunable exhaust systems and each one serves a different purpose which the video explains.

  • Best exhaust system out there IMO. You can tune it for more HP or more torque or better miles per gallon or a compromise between all three in any combination of two or more. I have to laugh at the know-nothings who badmouth the SuperTrapp without even attempting to tune the thing. I've played with settings on my ZX-9R of six discs to twelve. At six, performance is similar to stock. My 9R oddly enough prefers nine diffusers. Power, throttle response & power have all improved. 52 MPG too!!!

  • I've never understood why adding disks reduces backpressure/increases flow, seemed counter-intuitive. But, now I see why this works. Each disk flows exhaust from the internal area of the disk to the outside through the disk. Stacking disks increases the effective opening for the exhaust to pass through. It's a shame sky-car Moller didn't hang on to this invention, he'd be better funded today.
