Video of my home theater, after about 10 months after install. Here's some of the updates: Replaced Monster remote with Logitech Harmony 1100, and will soon swap that out for a Harmony 890 pro for lighting control. Added an 8 oz. popcorn machine. Mounted 3 mini-helmets signed by Nebraska's 3 heisman trophy winners. FUTURE UPDATE: Will be mounting a Suh signed Nebraska football, Tommy Frazier signed SI magazine (Nebraska No. 1 (Again)), and Tom Osborne signed SI magazine.

Here's a list of my equipment, same list as seen in my first video (made a couple changes):

  • I saw those klipsh at Best buy, they have a lot of treble

  • @raymondleeleggs Depends on your receiver and receiver settings really.

  • how do you like the xw300d, I am contemplating between two of those, one of those or one xw500d. What are you impressions of the xw300d.

  • @ehinton It does pretty well, not the loudest bass ever, but very crisp and detailed, not muddy or anything like that. Whenever I watch something with explosions or anything of that nature it puts out plenty of bass, plus you have the option to turn the bass up or down +/- 10dB.

  • HUSKERS # 1

  • @ehinton Yup, does great at keeping up at high volumes. I've played Saving Private Ryan at a vol. setting of -8.0dB, incredibly loud, and there was no distortion, so you don't need to worry about that.

  • @ehinton I just want to know how well it keeps up at higher volumes with out distorting. The sub-10 exhibited port noise on lower frequencies (rare but it did). I like the tightness of this sub, and its low end extension, but I don't know the difference in the xw500 vs the xw300, as they only had the 8 " model

  • @Nebraskahusker23 I have a reference 52 based system, and I had the sub-10, which was fine and dandy (more than loud) enough for me, but it didn't play low enough, which I heaerd the xw300d at magnolia home theater and I was blow away..
