@CaptnHampton22 Many people who work with stones find that they basically absorb and give back the energy that we put into them. Some seem to function better at different frequencies, i.e., heart center, throat center, etc.We're talking subtle energies here. At a grosser level, think of the quartz crystals used in early radio sets. They definitely functioned as energy receptors and transmitters.

@CaptnHampton22 Well the fortunate thing is that most crystals are very inexpensive with tumbled stones being just a dollar or two apiece. As far as I know, most people buy crystals out of their own free will and not from coercion from a new age practitioner. Every person is different, I myself feel a very sharp magnetic energy from hematite that hurts my whole arm if I hold it for even a couple of seconds, and I feel the pain for about 20 minutes afterwards. So I stay away from that shit.

@sti8u Well I very much appreciate your tone and peacefulness. I just want to point out to people that if the crystals act as placebo or are unnecessary all together...they should be wary of people who try to take advantage of them and get them to purchase stones and crystals that absolutely do nothing. There are people out there who try to take advantage of people in pain whether spiritually or physically. If you like the crystals, god bless...but they are aesthetic only.
