quite impressive ! =] the slowdowns are normal i think , what render system did you use? or is it a custom rendersystem for the iphone??
and i think i would ask the same question , was it written directly with C++ ? or is it an Obj-C wrapper ? i would be highly interested to develop irrlicht application for the iphone , I've been interested in phone development lately ^_^ is this released yet? or is it canceled?
If it's canceled then I better see if i can start an adaption myself ^^
retard, look at the related videos, also search for "irrlicht augmented reality" to see what this engine is capable of without requiring too much skill.

are calling irrlicht methods directly in obj-c++ or have you written some wrapper for use in obj-c?
also, is there any chance of getting the opengl-es irrlicht driver your using?
cracking stuff btw.
