African Contribution to United Kingdom Society
This video is produced as an acknowledgement of the very positive contribution the African continent and its peoples have made to United Kingdom Society.
The contributions range from medical to military, sport to society, commodities to culture, exotic to educational, foods to friendships and many more.
The video is an appropriate stimulus for classroom enquiry and discussion.
Teachers notes and advice information may be added at a later date.
Our thanks are proffered to Paula for the videos production, the African Childrens Choir for the music taken from A Ray of Hopes first album and the individuals, groups and organisations who have supported this venture. This includes the magnificent photographs taken by Vivienne Eka.
