I too am a huge fan of the rotary engine and have a fc rx7 and an rx8. But if this is the concept for the next one please count me out. Too tall and flat and it lacks the curvy design that mazda has been implementing for the past decade

I have both, a blue rx8 6speed and an rx7 r1 5speed in red. They are both beautful cars with amazing sounding engines when they spin up to redline. The ride and shifting is smoother in the rx8, but the rx7 is still the best ride when it comes to performance and driver enjoyment. It's not just the turbo that makes it funner though, the turbo just adds more to its raw power. If you drive both of them you'll understand their distinct character and feel. Wankel Rotaries will always be my favorite.
