Here's A Special Mix Of Dancin' Shoes Recorded Especially For The Nationally Syndicated "Bob & Tom" Radio Show. Dancin' Shoes Became A Hit Song By Nigel Olsson (Elton John's Drummer) In The Late 70's. The Original Version Was Recorded By The Faith Band From Indianapolis, Indiana And Written By Lead Singer Carl Storie. Both Records Were Released To Radio Stations At Exactly The Same Time On The Same Day! The Competition Went On For Many Weeks With Nigel Olsson Coming Out On Top. Here Is The Version You Never Get To Hear... By The Faith Band....From The Album "Rockin' Romance" In 1978.

  • Hey Mike...love your posts - they bring back such good memories....I can't help but wonder if you talk like that all the time in real life!!! (*I'm imagining you placing an order at a drive-thru window and I'm laughing at the thought!*)

  • Actually, I do talk like that all the time! I've talked like this for so long...it just comes naturally now. Sometimes at the drive through, I end my order with "And The Hits Just Keep On Comin'"...........

  • America and the AM radio DJ's made a mistake in picking Nigel. This was a better version.

  • @c4robby Yes ! I agree with you...he sounds like the Little River Band. I am glad you mentioned that. The band's original members were lead singer Glenn Shorrock, guitarists/vocalists Graeham Goble and Beeb Birtles, lead guitarist Ric Formosa, bassist Roger McLachlan and drummer Derek Pellicci.

  • Hey Mike, How about doing another great Faith Band tune, "You're My Weakness? I asked Carl recently if there are any plans of putting out some of the older stuff, like "Excuse Me, I Just Cut An Album". He said probably not. Love this band.

  • This singer sounds like the lead for the Little River Band
