Sri Krishna Janmastami Abhishek

Footage taken on 14 August 2009, From 8 pm to 12 midnight, pilgrims, devotees and local Vrajavasis were gathered in Sri Keshavji Gaudiya Math (Mathura) to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmastami under the guidance of our most worshipful Srila Guru Maharaj, Om Vishnupad Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayan Goswami Maharaj. At this time, different groups of local and professional kirtaniyas have come to perform bhajans or devotional prayers as their offering to the Lord and the assembled devotees. The program culminated at midnight with an abhishek or bathing ceremony to Baby Krishna as everyone were in bliss singing and dancing "Jiyo Syam Lala" and yelling "AAj badaai! Hai Gokul men!"
