This is our first trip of the season. We plan on doing many winter camp-outs. We're going to have fun testing our equipment against the harsh Canadian Winter! We're far from experts, but eager and psyched to learn!
I always bring some contractor bags; used em to make hip waders. Those got us across the washed out road.
The a-frame tent is a Reggie Bennett special, btw; i.e., Reggie Bennett from Mountain Shepherd Wilderness Survival School. I still haven't perfected the doors, but it wasn't really necessary given the conditions. Moreover, the additional airflow kept it completely free of condensation.
