It's so much easier to get that initial flick of the pop for so many tricks with the Flatlight. I think because there is less concave it doesn't want to grip your toes or heels much on flip flinging so it's just much more effortless. I don't think it just has to do with the distance between the tail and the ground.
I've been doing Tre-flips for about 20 years, so I've done 'em on over a hundred something boards in that time, and no board has made them feel as intuitive as a Flatlight deck.
is there a red flatlight because i have one and i never see it
