Squigglevision

A sound version is called "Rapid 5 Squigglevision". The music makes it better. This ad produced by VisualWorks and David Whitefield Jones http://www.visualworksinc.com was drawn as single repetitive frames in Painter then imported into Adobe After Effects for animation, layering and moves, and finished on a Media 100 for polish and soundtrack. The experiment undertaken by VisualWorks, the production company, was to get this "squiggle" look which is actually just hand drawn frames using the onion skin option on Painter to get the frames to be similar enough to look good, but different enough to provide movement.
