A pay dig site in Comfort TX. Here ranch owner uncovers and picks up a nice Martindale arrowhead. We were all excited!

@kevseadog you know something? all of them certified archeologists? if they are anything like the ones we have here in missouri, then they sit on their fatasses in air conditioned buildings, day after day after day, drawing their checks from our tax paying dollars and not doing a god damned thing. i ask one that was staffed on the onsr ( ozarks national Scenic riverways) if he had done any recent digs and he said no, that he wasnt paid enough for him to personally go and dig and do his job

Looting sites, especially of temporally diagnostic artifacts is thieving from all of us. A single projectile point can tell an archaeologist what time period the artifact was manufactured, what stratigie was employed in its manufacture, and therefore what tools may be associated, where the material is from which may indicate trade routs or ancient trade allies, and how old the artifact is. When it is removed from its original context, the site loses so much integrity. Please stop looting!

@kevseadog This is on private property. These type points and location is well documented, Why don't you join a Neighborhood Civic Association where you can tell people what color they can paint their house or where you can tell them you can't fly that flag..

@MrSouthernboy7 No, It wasn't mine to sell. It was the owner of the property and fell out of some dirt he was moving to a sifting table..
