I thought about buying one these but the lack of Australian approval ruled it out. It's unfortunate because there would be a market for them here, but I assume the approval costs are prohibitive. DEUS EX MACHINA were selling them with the disclaimer of their unapproved status but have since discontinued the helmet.

As for the question of DOT or ECE2205 approved, when you order them from us here you may ask us for either.
They are hand made and painted to order so we will get them done in either ECE2205 or DOT (If you dont ask we will assume depending on what coutry you order from)

@boomboomfy Yep...love it. Fits well with very soft leather padding.
I ride a Harley Deluxe. It is European approved.

I,m from Australia Sydney, hope you do know that the helmet is not legal here. Even if it's DOT or ECE standards, stupid rules but thats the way it is here but it is a nice helmet. Before seing your video, I seen them on the there web page and they are expensive. Hope there they are a good helmet. What are they like.

@ducati9962001 Yep, unfortunately you are right - they are not Oz approved. They are definitely not cheap, but I love wearing it.

GOd just watch a man take his helmet out of a box! I feel violated!
On a serious note I think that ruby helmets are just a little too large looking, padding seems to be massive. Nice looking helmets but I tried one on and it looked shite!

@mgb104 Cost heaps and took ages to arrive down under. Thought it deserved some type of ritual.
Soft padding is 'delicious'.
Hope you at least enjoyed the music.
