@pashedmotatos how exactly its folk metal? ever heard the album NeChrist?or the song black raven? they have not changed they have been producing this kind of music since the beginning this is pure NSBM.

Its not something new that a Black Metal band made a "folk metal" song. Black Metal gave birth to Folk metal back in good ol days folk and black metal were pretty much the same i mean black metal bands (Burzum etc) made songs about norse mythology and paganism but they never labelled their music folk metal .now when i listen to these so called folk metal bands i feel like im listening to bunch of Bathory clones. no originality no ideology nothing
