How to flambee bananas
Always be careful when you flambee food. DO NOT attempt if you have been drinking.
And remember about 1 ounce of booze (In the saute pan not in yourselves) with generate about a foot of flames. Go easy on the alcohol.

  • shittiest flambe i have ever seen, a child could do a more proper show when flaming the alcohol, did you even go to chef school? there was absolutely no need to heat the corner of the pan and you had to tip the pan anyway to get it to catch. ZERO points for technique and showmanship. you suck hardcore balls

    You heat up one end of the pan to make it as hot as possible To make the booze ignite.. :)

  • why did you bother to heat up one end of the pan even though you still used the flame to ignite it, are you actually a chef because you did that very hesitantly, and as an apprentice chef in sydney,australia the first thing i was taught was to never look away from the pan
