An experimental socio-perceptual documentary created from a short trip to Europe.
A Socio-Perceptual Documentary, like Across the Pond and Snapshop of West Linn, is an experimental indie style of film making characterized by its rapid cuts and unpredictable course. Nothing is ever staged or acted; in fact, the authenticity lies in the spontaneous structure and random or prompted occurrences caught on film. The audience is exposed to a new or unfamiliar subject, and given a raw, alternate perspective into it. Socio-Perceptual Documentaries could be about someone, somewhere, or something... or even nothing at all. the subject is entirely up to the film-maker.
