Wow, really nice job. I was enjoying from the start, but was reserving judgment until I saw how you got through the high note. Nailed it. What did you do to your lead vocals? They sound like they are doubled, but I could be wrong, are you running any reverb or delay or anything. Also, how do you get away with not using a pop screen? Or the fan going in the background for that matter. When I record there's no way I can have something humming in the back like that w/o the mic picking it up.

@thepeteris Thanks man! And yup, all of the vocals are doubled in this one, and there's some reverb and compression on all of the vocals, but that's it. And the mic did pick up some fan hum (which I've since learned from) but it was drowned out by everything else thankfully. If I don't have the pop screen on hand I just make a point to put some distance between the mic and myself. And I pray. :P
