UDK - GDc New Features Demo Map

This is a new Demo map Epic released for the new April UDK Version.

I was totally psyched when I first opened up that map, everything looks extremely good and is running on a higher framerate than Crysis 1.

Please note that running this at realtime ingame AND recording with Fraps really jammed the framerate down to 18-25 (was recorded at 25). The smoke was just to much and the build in motion blur looks bad with the MP4 codec I am using. My system cannot really handle Antialiasing 8x, I really use an old system with old drivers. The only one that I update is the ATI driver. It runs and until it doesnt stop running I will use it, instead of Win 7.

But in reality, I must say that this level (especially with the cloud shadow) looks as good, if not better than Crysis 1 which I also just played on DX 9 (really can´t say something about DX 10 and 11).

Hey! The same demo is in July version... That's not 'NEW features' demo map!

@MaKiPOLSKA True it was the version from july, but yes there are new features, for example cloud shadows on the rocks.

@comicsserg18 In XP 32-bit you mean. The same limitation exists in Vista 32-bit and 7 32-bit

4Gb ram doesn't make sense because with win XP you only use max 3Gb ram so the other 1Gb is never used
