& I was 7 ;-) in east-germany :D - "west rock" was to this time here to become only in "Gold-Money" - with a bad job no a chance of good rock for home ...

These comments are ridiculous. I bought this album in 1969 when I was 9 years old and immediately bought Hendrix "Smash Hits," Mountain Climbing, Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow and Led Zeppelin II... these were the days of the greatest rock legends of all time. Total respect and complete awe... I will NEVER FORGET HOW INCREDIBLE THIS VINYL DISC SOUNDED: "Had to Cry Today" was utterly mindblowing on a jury rigged 4 speaker Kenwood amp with 4 KLH speakers. God, I miss those days...

Early great rock that never can be equalled! Blind Faith, Traffic, Mountain, Cream, Cactus etc etc. If you haven't heard it and are a musician you've missed something.

also, it's interesting that clapton originally wanted steve winwood to be a member of cream, thus making blind faith a short but sweet taste of what that incarnation might've been like.

I wasn't born when this happened, but I'd give at least one of my nuts to have been there

This song is great. I wish I had been wiser when young and been exposed to better music growing up.

Although now saying that,I know better now and glad I am who I am now, so everything happens the way it was supposed too. Great upload thank you !

Indeed! The period from circa 1965- '66 to a bit into the seventies was a magic one for rock music. If rock has an equivalent to the early-to-high rennaicanse in European art, it's definately it. Since then it's been mannerism, really...
