Reelblack's Monica Peters linked up with filmmaker Malcolm Lee during a recent visit to Drexel University where he screened his film SOUL MEN. The BEST MAN writer/director talks about working with the late Bernie Mac, building a strong comedy ensemble and the variables beyond quality that go into making a hit at the box office. Beats by J Kobie Music. Special thanks Drexel U. Camera Mike D. and Craig Carpenter.
Good outlook on our people going to the movies. Glad that the question of bootlegging was brought up also. Good job. Tieuel Legacy! aka The DDAd

They way he spoke about The Express sounded like he was saying it was a complete failure. I know he meant well but the context was funny. I saw it on cable and was very impressed.
I've gotta check Soul Men. Best Man, Undercover Brother, & Roll Bounce were all great films with heart & humor.
