BCM12 - Bridge descent duo, near side

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. This shows two PAL descent methods from the first bridge in AOTCR, using the near right ledge, starting from the 'V'. I set things up with a handy checkpoint for making repeat attempts. In one method you try to stop on the ledge. It's easy to get down from there, and I show what I consider the safest way. In the other you bounce off to be cushioned by a rock. Check out my stunt jumps near the end! It's NTSC. I get the first slide right, but probably around six feet above the rock I magically die.

@MajorSilvaa Dang, that's pretty rotten magic. It really surprises me though. In scurty2's 'AotCR Bridge Fall Shortcut (2)' he bounces off the ledge then the cliff base (with NTSC), which doesn't seem that much different from bouncing off the ledge then this rock. Yet he survives fine.

@MajorSilvaa Sorry to hear it. Is that with NTSC or PC? You make it to the ledge but then the game kills you?

@Gaunt128 Glad you liked the Elite tag. It was a deliberate bit of comedy I wanted to include, so I kept doing retries to get a patrolling Elite in the right spot for that move. I'll have a think about the annotations idea, thanks, and maybe do a test to see what it could be like. It crossed my mind before but I thought most people would just turn annotations off.

Here's an idea - why don't you put condensed versions of your commentary notes from Bad Cyborg into the videos as annotations? That way we don't have to flick back and forth between BC and YT to see your notes.
