"Overlooked" is the right description. This song is one-of-a-kind in terms of its subject matter, genre, and musical style. There's just nothing like it, and it's plain good music. Simply amazing.

It's my opinion that this is one of the most overlooked Marshall Tucker tunes. I was mesmerized when I first heard this tune in the waning days AOR radio. I bought "10th" because of this song. The story could had taken from a Zane Grey novel and the music is a driving jazzy rock treat.
