Could someonr help me out? when i opoen the door under the bridge, it loads something, my screen turns black with only the HUD showing, and it reloads the last save. Could someone please help me?

It's amazing that after 7 years this game still holds up graphically but it's no surprise that it holds up, gameplay wise, or actually could be considered better than a lot of what is being released today. You can see that the game is a labour of love and it is just so well put together, the sound design, the art design, the level layouts, the story. It's just a five star game.
