This is a little known one by The Temptations made in 1967 but not released at the time on Motown's Gordy label, that the Temptations were on.
Let me know if you like it? (you can view all my videos in high-quality now too!) Thanks, JOHN

  • Gosh, I would have been so great to be a part of the Motown Quality Control group back in the 60s - from what I read, these were the guys who got together and listened to all the releases and they had deciding power over what got released and what didn't - THIS SONG would have definitely been released as a single if I were a part of that group!

  • I think it just shows you just what is in the Vaults never having heard the sound of day all these years don't you agree, Chris? I was always a number one fan of the Temptations! JOHN

  • when I get to heaven this is what the DJ will be playing when those pearly gates swing open

  • when I get to heaven this is what the DJ will be playing

  • EXCELLENT

  • Thanks for sharing....never heard it but I loved it

  • Smokey wrote this, and at this time Norman was in charge of what made the album. Had this been put on the album radio stations might have played it alot thereby forcing motown to release it as a single, and that would mean that Smokey might take the job of producer away from Norman if the single did well, alot of competition at motown

  • Just now hearing a lot of the songs recorded with Paul as lead. Some of these would have definitely been hits (I know...I grew up listening to these guys)!!!!! Too bad they weren't released. Paul will always be the best.

  • I wonder why this tune was never issued on any of their albums - its pure SOUL dynamite!!
