It's black & white, so I doubt it'll be useful for active camouflage

how does it fare with metal detectors? will it increase or decrease security measures at transportation points?

ASU has been doing this work with DoD funding for many years now, just as MIT has been using DoD money for Nanotechnology research. There have been MANY inventions that came about from DoD research. Many great minds have produced great products from DoD funding that benefit the public in health, first responder, IT, safety, etc. See not all military money is for war. Proud, retired

I have a really cool thought! If this is incrediable,which it is,then just imagine,...the thing's they are working on that we know nothing about as of yet!! Really!! Give that some real thought!!

nice finaly a display there can handel some abuse. This display whut be perfect for use in mobile fones, MP3 players and other transportable things there have a risk to smahs the display if it gets dropped or some thing like that.
