Rachman could do anything and always with lightness what he didnt have was Hofmann's flair but we must not dare compare. God,this is awful music(to me)and this is wht they liked untilthe 1930's or so.Chopin musta been hardgoing for people to listento then! not even cutesyMendellsohn true greatand genius and able to do it all.those pianoconcerti (oh dear)an ability to really speak for his era'sC H A R M .Sorta like SaintSaensfor anearly period butSS wrote lotsa piano music I LIKE .GO FIGURE!
